Q: How can I optimize a PDF to reduce the file size in PDF Studio?
A: PDF Studio Pro can optimize PDF documents and reduce PDF file sizes. It can compress images and remove unused objects. There are many different optimization options available in PDF Studio. Each of the PDF Optimizer options are listed below. Click on the links below for more detailed information.

Optimize a Single PDF
- Open any document in PDF Studio 10 and above
- On the menu bar select Document->Optimizer->Optimize or press Ctrl+Shift+O on your keyboard
- This will display the Optimizer settings dialog
- Select the optimizer settings that you wish to use when optimizing your document. (Note: If the document is protected or locked you will not be able to optimize the document until it is unlocked) For more information regarding each of the available options follow the links above.
- Once complete click on Optimize. This will prompt you for a location to save the document
- Once you have set the save location for your document and click save and your document will be optimized
