Q: How do I set up my email account so that I can send files directly from PDF Studio?
A: You will need to know the SMTP server settings for your email account.  The server is often formatted like smtp.example.com ormail.example.com. Your user name is often the email address itself john.doe@example.com.

How to find my SMTP server name?

Outlook 

  1. Launch Outlook
  2. In the menu, select Tools > Accounts
  3. On the “Mail” tab, find the account associated with the SMTP server and highlight it.
  4. Click the “Properties” button to view your SMTP server address

Windows Mail 

  1. Launch Windows Mail
  2. In the menu, select Tools > Accounts
  3. On the “Mail” tab, find the account associated with the SMTP server and highlight it.
  4. Click the “Properties” button.
  5. Go to the “Servers” tab to view your SMTP server address

Mac Mail 

  1. Launch Mail
  2. Click “Mail” in the main menu bar. Scroll down and click “Preferences”
  3. Click the account that you are interested in from the ones listed in the left column
  4. View the SMTP server address in the “Outgoing Mail Server” field
