Q: Even though I have set display scaling on my Linux machine the menu text in PDF Studio is still very small. How can I fix this?
A: PDF Studio comes packaged with different look and feel options. Some of the Look and Feels, such as Nimbus & Metal, do not respect the Linux scaling settings. To resolve this go to File -> Preferences -> Display and change the look at feel to a different setting then Restart PDF Studio to see if that resolves the issue. We have found that GTK+ has been the most compatible with the OS scaling on all the Linux distributions we have tried.
NOTE: if GTK+ is not listed, please make sure that you are running the latest PDF Studio version 2020.2.0 by going to the Help Tab -> Check for updates. If it is still not showing up this means it is not installed on your system. Try to install the GTK+ look and feel for your Linux Distribution and then relaunch PDF Studio to select the setting.
