12.0.7 – March 27 2018

Enhancements:

  • PDF/A conversion improvements to support the following validation items:
    • “cmap table contains 2 encodings but should only contain 1”
    • “shading is DeviceCMYK”

Bug Fixes

  • Word convert: document specific conversion errors fixed
  • Optimizer enhancements: Duplicate image removal logic improved, Unused object removal logic improved, Improve handling of stencil images and indexed images
  • Duplicated shortcut key “Ctrl + Shift + I” (removed shortcut for Imposition)
  • Batch print would only print limited number of pages of each document
  • Issue with extra space when editing multi line fields
  • (Document Specific) Fixed ‘ArrayOutOfBoundsException” when applying text redaction
  • (Image Specific) Reduced horizontal lines artifacts when printing rotated images
  • Better handling of color spaces and bits per pixel for JPEG 2000 images
  • Deleted content would reappear after running PDF/A validation

Bug Fixes

  • Multi selection does not remain when right click on attachments panel
  • Right click on attachments pane doesn’t select attachment
  • Typewriter not losing focus when menu bar is clicked
  • Empty typewriter annotation is showing on Recent Comments
  • Export to XFDF and FDF gives an exception when typerwiter is still in edit mode
  • XFDF file can not be reimported – XML Parse Exception during parsing of a freetext element at line 0: Attribute “rotation” does not contain a valid value (“0.0”)
  • Fix issue with CalGray color space: background is yellowish instead of white

Enhancements

  • Decreased the sensitivity of Ctrl + Drag to copy annotations
  • (Studio Viewer) Allow users to trust certificates from signature details and pane

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed “Toggle” option for  showing/hide layers in JavaScript action
  • Fixed issue when redacting using no fill color over an image it would throw an error
  • (Mac) Command + W now closes the frame not just the document
  • (Studio Viewer) Importing trusted certificates did not work
  • Fixed issue when appending rotated pages that would not initially show rotation

Enhancements

  • (Windows) Always display “File -> Convert to -> Word” option and show Preferences dialog if path to Microsoft Word needs to be set
  • Added MS Word and Excel template formats “.dotx”, “.dotx”, & “.xltx” to available conversion file types

Bug Fixes

  • Word to PDF – issue with overlapping text in specific documents
  • Excel to PDF – issue with extra borders being drawn in specific documents
  • (Mac) High Sierra: Toolbar icons don’t look pressed when selected
  • Ctrl+Drag should not be allowed to copy redaction annotations
  • Do not display Autocad note bubbles as they have no stroke color, no fill color, no appearance stream
  • “Image” option would not save when creating watermark profiles
  • OCR option “discard invisible text” was broken
  • Error when choosing a file the second time in the Open File or Go To Remote page JavaScript action settings

  • Spacing issues with Text Box annotation and font size 7 or 8
  • Batch remove watermark hidden behind About dialog
  • Image field applied watermark that could not be removed
  • “Missing Resource: Frm” error when importing image on image field
  • Perimeter annotation properties dialog required multiple clicks to close

Bug Fixes

  • Starting Mission Control with PDF Studio running hides all other applications
  • Copying multiple annotations with the exact same dimensions would only paste one annotation
  • Option to “generate results log” broken in batch
  • “No Export” flag on fields was ignored when submitting form
  • “Sides” in Print dialog is not translated to German
  • XFA fields part of an ‘area’ on a subform were not displayed
  • Horizontal alignment was not respected when XFA is only a “<body>”element
  • Form field border array of size “0” displayed yellow border instead of default
