Q: I have two monitors setup on my Mac. When I use PDF Studio on my external monitor, it crashes unexpectedly. How can I solve this issue?
A: This is a known issue for users working with dual display that happens when PDF Studio is downloaded from Mac app store only.
You will see a black dialog “Problem Report for PDF Studio” with the error message below:
PDF Studio quit unexpectedly. Click Reopen to open the application again. This report will be sent automatically to Apple
We are working on fixing this issue but it requires updating some of the underlying libraries that we bundle with for the Mac app store, so this is not an easy fix…
In the meantime, you can use PDF Studio installer found on our website: https://www.qoppa.com/pdfstudio/download/
and we can issue a free license key to register for users who run on dual monitors and purchased from the Mac app store.
