Q: When opening a PDF document in PDF Studio, it seems that the 100% magnification is not exactly the same as the 100% view in Adobe Reader.

A: This is a preference that can be set in Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader under Edit > Preferences > Page Display.

In PDF Studio 9 and above, please look under Edit >Preferences > Display. PDF Studio will default to a custom resolution of 110 pixels per inches which is typical of most desktop computers. But it is possible to change the resolution under Edit > Preference > Display.

PDF Studio 8 and below just use the resolution reported by the operating system, 96 pixels per inch.  There is no setting to change the resolution.
