Q: When you put a sticky note on a PDF document, it shows up closed. Any way to save/print so that the note contents are visible?

A: Double-clicking on a sticky note will open the pop-up and display the sticky note content. But unfortunately, at the moment, PDF Studio cannot make sticky note popups visible initally upon opening documents. This is a limitation due to the way annotations popups are implemented in PDF Studio but we will fix this soon.

However, PDF Studio supports setting the property to indicate that the sticky note popup should show when the document is first open. This will work on other PDF readers such as Adobe Reader.

To set this property, check the box called “Open Initially” in the Sticky Notes Properties dialog. To open the properties dialog, select the annotation with the Hand tool, then right-click (CTRL + Click on Mac) to show the mouse menu and choose “Properties”.
